Switchburn

A few weeks ago I had my first Dan Deacon experience and it was just something else!
I'm not gonna try and describe the experience as Covert Curiosity and Sonic Itch Music both have done an amazing job of  doing that. All I can say is you have got to check Dan Deacon out live sometime, somewhere, somehow.

At the show, Mr. Curioisty told me about switchburn, an Austin based company and this is what they do.

"switchburn films bands on stage, in studio, and behind-the-scenes from a unique, panoramic, multi-camera perspective. Every week, the latest videos from up and coming acts based in and passing through Austin are posted online via switchburn.com.

Changing the way new music is seen and heard, switchburn is exposing bands through high-quality audio and video made available online for the world to see. All is provided free of charge to both musician and viewer. Enjoy!"

Turns out that these guys are also involved in the party that we are throwing at SXSW so we can expect some great footage from at least some of the great acts that we have lined up.
