well folks, the wonderful musical year of '08 has passed and we moved into exciting times for '09. i have tired to stick to a simlar format as the '07 round up by covering some newcomers that I have noticed (not as many this year but I haven't been looking as much either), the best posts from just some of the blogs on my blog roll, year end lists from various places that I frequent, my favorite cubikmusik posts from the year as well as a small list of blogs no longer with us and lastly, my musical highlight of '08.
'08 was a strange year for me with a myriad of personal stuff going on that kept me distracted from cubikmusik at times. despite this i can honestly say that keeping this up also helped me get through some stuff; not just through finding and posting music that makes me feel and think but also through the contacts and friends that i have made as a result of being here. thanks to all who have reached out and i look forward to meeting new friends as time passes.
please do feel free to comment and make suggestins for your own '08 highlights, etc. that i may have missed.
hope you had a great '08 and i wish all of my readers (and passers by) the very best for '09.
cheers,
