was ripping some vinyl the other day and played the b-side of an edit out of Italy from the Super Value label. the intro beat reminded me of 'how sweet it is' by mr.scruff and mark rae which is a favorite of mine so of course i sat up. needless to say as the tune evolved i was blown away with the soulful sounds enveloped by this solid beat. after some digging, and consulting with @paulriley1982 on twitter we found it.
'mechanical body' by George and Gwen McCrae released in 1975 on cat records.
its a beautiful thing.

Velly impressed by these Songs of Praise, Mr Bohanna, just my kind of thing. have known you for years but never knew you had such excellent taste, almost as good as my own. of course I ain't seen you in nearly 20 years so that probably explains it.
have downloaded em all so far - so nice of you to figure out a way to let us download easily, very important that - as i mentioned when you stuck em on Puke-book :)
keep em comming . . . bitch ;-)
