nice one to SpineTV for putting this together. An interesting insight into Eglo records out of London with Alex Nut, Funkineven (with the tune 'Mad Swing' that is massive) and Fatima (of the beautiful Lil' Girl tune from Shafiq Husayn). Only missing Mr. Floating Points this time round. Its always great to hear some of the stories behind a label that you admire for its consistent output and dedication to quality music. It goes against the grain of all the horror stories about the music industry, etc. so refreshing to see and inspiring to watch. Got the link to this via Soul-Identity.
Here's a Floating Points remix of Fela Kuti's No Enemy and also, check below for a clip from an upcoming release from Floating Points. As ever, big!

This blog is so interesting. I must say that at first I thought it would be a waste of time, but after reading your post was impressed with its quality. I just hope that over time you continue maintaining the same quality, and most of the same passion at the time of writing.

Not bad with that kind of money.

I also sent them a check for over $18,000 back in September & never received a zero balance statement, which was the reason for the call today.
