you may have noticed things being quiet around here lately with no posts in a month. been a bit distracted and busy with the new arrival in our home. baby ellie was born on april 20th at approx. 5.41pm gmt. she was two weeks early so needless to say it took us by surprise somewhat. both baby ellie and her mum are fine and we have spent the past two weeks settling into our new life, getting ellie comfortable and happy and making sure her mum rests a lot. thankfully i've been off work so that has helped.

i can say that she is a joy to have and to hold and we are looking forward to watching her grow up while we help her along the way. to start off ellie's musical world i've put together a little lullaby mix comprised of music that is peaceful, melodic and of a positive nature. ellie has been listening to all this music over the past few months anyway but now she gets to lie in my arms and fall asleep to it. this mix also goes out to my mate dj kwak and his family who recently welcomed their son, elie, into the world. i know that ellie and elie will be showered with much music over their lives. expect another mix in the coming weeks as kwak and myself will be working together to make a reggae for babies mix.
