currently without internet as we just moved into a new place. looks like at least two weeks with just a 3G connection for the iPhone so no posts coming in the near future. apologies
while you're waiting check out some mixes and tracks getting my attention (in work)right now.
first up, one of the latest additions to the space invader radio family, trust in dust with his tribute to the legendary grand central records. great stuff from a label that is sorely missed.
Another addition to the space invader family is tea and cake records so check out the inaugural show.
next up is the beautiful tune from swedeart with the tune 'lingustics' feat. stray courtesy of mint collective.
Swedeart - Linguistics feat. Stray by TheMintCollectivepaulriley played this on last night's 'songs of praise' i think and its a wonderful edit of rthur russell's 'how we walk on the moon' by young edits. special.
Arthur Russell - How We Walk On The Moon (Youth Rerub) by Young Edits
Then of course we have ghostpoet's free EP for you to grab as a teaser before his first release on Brownswood. Super excited about these releases and for the album to come out.
Update: Just checked Charlie Dark's stunning mix for the Nike Tied Together project.
So, enjoy that bevvy of music. get your ears around that while we sort out mr.BT and our internet. when we come back we'll have more music, guest mixes on 'songs of praise', an update on the charity release, news of some events that myself and confused eclectic will be holding around Ireland this year along with a major announcement.
This is my type of music!

This is so great that I had to comment. I am usually just a lurker, taking in knowledge and nodding my head in quiet approval at the good stuff.

They looked so ridiculous with helmet heads walking around Wally World like Mad Max rejects. Another prime example of why there's a website called People of Walmart =D!
So tell us Mechgogo, is it customary to shop around a store with your motorcycle helmet perched on your head? Or using it as a shopping basket to carry the BBQ sauce?

joy very You can just feel the tension in the air, or maybe it's just the humidity. This mix doesn't reflect this in any way, I don't think, but you know, just saying. It's hot.who enjoy dressing as animals and giving them human characteristics. (OK, those sound like fun.) .$$$$$$.
