first show of 2010 has been and gone already. hope everyone had a great new year. big shouts to the space invader crew! speaking of which, check out the additional shows starting up. the schedule is getting busier with lots of quality tueage coming out. well looking forward to the bi-weekly 'junk in the trunk' show on tuesdays 10pm-12am, starting tomorrow (Jan. 12th). expect big things. i also heard a rumour that confused eclectic will be joining the roster. check out his blog and over at mixcloud for his musical choices. good things.

last night over @spaceinvaderfm myself and @paulriley1982

played our 3 hour, best of '09 set. This was put together by both of us over the course of the last few weeks as we trawled through our hard-drives, scoured the blogs and other best of 09 play-lists to check for possible missed tunes and then double checked in discogs to ensure '09 was indeed release date. Now, is 3 hours enough to cover the width and depth of quality music that we heard in '09? I don't think so to be honest but we do feel that we have at least covered a lot of the best. To dig deeper please check full releases by each artist to find more quality. Dig and buy, dig and buy. If artists continue to produce this high quality of music for us to enjoy it is up to us to make sure that we continue to support them by buying their music, going to their gigs, buying merchandise and encouraging by giving feedback, etc.

good morning all.
happy monday.

last night saw the debut of my new weekly show, songs of praise, over on space invader radio.
i've mention them before here and these boys and girls have a good thing going on over there with a great mix of sounds from the crew going out 7 nights a week and an expanding roster of shows. many an evening i have had checking out the shows and picking up new tunes to love.
needless to say after being a fan for a few months i was delighted to be approached by space invader with an invite to start a weekly show!
so, after a few weeks of pondering, planning and tinkering the show started last night. the show goes out on sunday evenings from 6pm-8pm (gmt) and runs into DJ Hoops' excellent 'wireless' show. so for sunday's now there are 4 hours of fun tunes to get you eased into the week ahead.

don't be worrying about the name of the show. i haven't gone all religious with my musical choice. while it does 'borrow' from the tv show of the same name the format will be to have a show that enjoys and praises good music and music that makes you feel good. :)
